Collette June Ellis (purpleglovez or chocolatehusky as she is known on the internet) is a self-taught artist who enjoys exploring the different types of art. Ever since the age of two Collette has been doodeling and creating (mostly dragons!). Collette learned how to draw by reading art books as a child and by observing other artists to develop her own style.
Ever since she was a child Collette has been fasinated with mythology and nature. Her favourate books as a child were; "The Hobbit" by J R R Tolkien and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Roal Dahl.
Collette enjoys drawing fantasy art, however, she also loves drawing portraits, creating sculptures and writing.
She adores, wolves, dragons, unicorns and werewolves, and they feature allot in her work.
She prefers to keep her face hidden from the internet, and only reveals herself to close friends, otherwize she is an open honest indevidual who always takes the time to reply to emails and messages.
A large persentage of Collette's personal work is drawn as "notes" or illustrative ideas for an idea for a book which she has been expanding on for quite some time.
As well as drawing, Collette also enjoys writing, (despite struggeling a bit with spelling). Surprizingly English and Drama were her favourate subjects at school rather than art and has taken part in several plays in her local therter.
With a love for fantasy, animals and nature, Collette's goal is to become a designer for films and TV; to design costumes, characters and sets.
